Undercut check

This function is used to check if there are any undercuts in the preparation area, preventing issues such as crown fabrication difficulties or excessive gaps between the crown and the prepared tooth.

Procedure:
1.Adjust the view to the preparation area, ensuring the screen is aligned with the insertion direction of the crown, then click “Calculate.”

2.Check from the front view to see if there are any undercuts in the preparation area. Rotating the model will also display the insertion direction and the extent of the undercut.

3.Rotate the view, adjust the angle, and click “Calculate” again to recalculate the undercut.
